Job Summary:

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in design to develop, implement and oversee electrical systems for our infrastructure. Key responsibilities include conducting system tests, providing technical support, ensuring safety compliance, and implementing new electrical design of infrastructure of current facilities. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and proficiency in relevant tools and software. This role is vital to our Bitcoin Operation, requiring adaptability and a thorough understanding of electrical systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems to support high-performance mining operations.
  • Oversee power distribution, transformers, switchgear, and electrical infrastructure.
  • Conduct load flow analysis, short-circuit analysis, and power quality assessments.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to optimize power efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system failures and performance issues.
  • Work with external vendors and contractors to implement new electrical solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams.

  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
    • Willingness to travel and adapt to different site requirements.
    • Strong knowledge of power distribution, transformers, and electrical systems.
    • Experience with high-voltage systems and energy efficiency solutions.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar electrical design software.
    • Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, and other relevant industry standards.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and project management skills.


    Preferred Experience:

    • Familiarity with renewable energy project development (solar, wind, battery storage).
    • Exposure to carbon markets, demand response programs, or DERs (Distributed Energy Resources).
    • Experience in deregulated electricity markets (e.g., PJM, ERCOT, CAISO).
