Position Title - Electrical Engineer

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 + Benefits & Equity

The product combines low-cost edge-computing nodes with intelligent backend systems to autonomously manage geographically distributed assets. These smart nodes operate reliably even in bandwidth-constrained environments and use flexible communication pathways to connect with their backend. As distributed energy resources like solar, battery storage, and electric vehicles reshape the grid, they enable grid operators to monitor, control, and optimize operations at scale.


Your New Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and deploy of their new hardware products for grid monitoring and control. You'll contribute heavily to the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to validation and production, working closely with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include designing next-generation sensors and electronics, supporting system integration, and debugging complex hardware during new product introduction (NPI) sprints. You'll also perform type testing, QA/QC, and batch testing of production hardware. This role is ideal for someone passionate about clean energy and eager to develop innovative technologies in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


Your Background:

The ideal candidate is an Electrical Engineer with 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in EE. You will bring deep experience in schematic capture, multi-layer PCB design, and bring-up. Proven experience with tools like Altium, Cadence, or Eagle is essential, along with a strong understanding of DFM and end-to-end product development through mass manufacturing.
