Job Title: Electrical Engineer - R&D


Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on and technically skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our R&D team, driving the full lifecycle of electronic product development for innovative medical devices. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of both new and existing products, with a strong focus on schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, prototyping, and regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electronic design efforts including analog, digital, and mixed-signal systems.
  • Develop and maintain embedded firmware and control software.
  • Build and test prototypes, ensuring IEC60601-1 4th edition compliance.
  • Support product verification, validation, and documentation aligned with ISO13485.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, RA, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Manage vendors and component sourcing to meet budget and timeline goals.
  • Champion engineering best practices and continuous improvement.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in electronic product development in Medical Devices or a relevant highly regulated industry
  • Proficiency in Altium or equivalent EDA tools.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (IEC60601-1, ISO13485).
  • Experience in schematic capture, PCB layout, prototype testing, and validation.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, FPGAs/CPLDs, high-voltage, and RF design.


Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of C programming and embedded software.
  • Experience with power supply design (Buck/Boost, Flyback).
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
