About the Role:
We're seeking a Mechanical, Test & Validation Engineer to support the development and maintenance of a Tableau-based data analysis environment used in calibration and powertrain testing. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional engineering teams and has a strong background in both software development and automotive systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software tools for vehicle testing, analysis, and reporting.
- Support R&D teams with automated data reporting and custom analysis solutions.
- Reprogram and modernize existing tools into scalable, enterprise-level environments.
- Collaborate with global technical experts and internal engineering teams.
- Lead fault evaluation and support root-cause analysis for testing systems.
- Contribute to process improvements and KPI development for engineering operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL, MATLAB, VBA).
- Strong understanding of database structures, testing procedures, debugging, and data visualization.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, onboard diagnostics, and communication architectures.
- Experience with software development in an R&D or automotive context.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in software development or engineering R&D.
- Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- Familiarity with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
