We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineering Project Manager to lead the electrical engineering scope for complex infrastructure projects such as power plants, data centres, HVDC systems, or substations. This role will oversee technical execution, manage internal and external engineering teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute all electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle

Manage electrical design processes, including concept development, technical specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BoQs)

Oversee and coordinate internal engineering teams and external suppliers

Serve as the key technical point of contact for electrical engineering-related interfaces (I&C, layout, and systems)

Ensure compliance with project requirements, customer specifications, and relevant standards

Monitor progress, control engineering hours, and report technical status, risks, and opportunities

Support on-site teams during installation and commissioning to resolve engineering issues

Enforce EHS standards and contribute to minimizing non-conformance costs (NCCs)

Identify and manage engineering-related risks and claims proactively


Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field

8+ years of experience managing electrical engineering for large infrastructure or energy projects (e.g., Power Plants, Data Centres, HVDC, or Substations)

Strong knowledge of electrical power systems including MV/LV switchgear, transformers, converters, rectifiers, and control centres

Proficiency in reading and developing Single Line and Three Line Diagrams

Experience with cross-functional and intercultural project teams

Strong project management and coordination skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus

Knowledge of HVDC transmission systems is an advantage

Fluency in English required; Spanish proficiency is a plus
