Mechanical Engineer
Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000
We're working with a client seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the development, integration, and validation of innovative products. In this key role, you'll apply your engineering expertise to design and optimize hardware components and sub-systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own hardware components, ensuring functionality, durability, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with design, electrical, and software teams to create robust solutions.
- Conduct technical reviews and manage trade-off discussions.
- Build, test, and validate prototypes to identify design flaws.
- Review technical prints to ensure compliance with design guidelines.
- Assist in selecting suppliers and facilitating hardware procurement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 10-15 years of engineering experience with a focus on complex systems for the Senior level
- 5-10 years of engineering experience with a focus on complex systems for the Advanced level
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, or medical device industries preferred.
- Expertise in Siemens NX 3D CAD tools and ASME Y14.5 GD&T
- Proficiency with fluid/thermal systems design and FEA toolsets like ANSYS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
