Location: Mossville, IL (On-site, 5 days/week)

Duration: 24 Months (Contract)

We're looking for a highly experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the full development lifecycle of converters and inverters for electric drivetrain systems. This is an exciting opportunity to join a cross-functional team driving innovation in e-powertrain technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of purchased-finished converters/inverters.
  • Define technical requirements in collaboration with systems teams.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers, and guide hardware/software development.
  • Support testing, validation, commissioning, and field issue resolution.
  • Manage APQP, NPI/NTI processes, and supplier communications.
  • Contribute to inventory and procurement logistics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 10+ years in product/component development.
  • Deep expertise in power electronics, electric drives, and quality tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP).
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Self-starter with proven experience in full development cycles.

Preferred Skills:

  • Inverter & motor drive development experience.
  • Power converter testing and validation background.
  • Supplier evaluation and development skills.
