Title: Mechanical Engineer (Downhole Tools)

Location: Houston, Texas

Duration: Full-Time/Contract

Experience: for 4-8 yrs

We are looking for candidates having Oil and gas downhole tool experience.

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

• Mechanical engineer with 5-8 years of experience in design.
• Experience in Oil and gas, preferred in Downhole tools and components.
• Design, evaluate, and improve mechanical systems used in exploration, production, and processing.
• Conduct mechanical integrity assessments for static and rotating equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, process, civil) on capital and maintenance projects.
• Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and calculations for equipment such as pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, and relevant industry codes and standards.
• Experience in Windchill PLM software.
• Knowledge of Modelling of Assemblies, Subassemblies, parts, and drafting.
• Coordinate with the design teams for identifying and solving Parts Lifetime or availability-related issues

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering
