JOB DESCRIPTION

RSI is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, develop and validate electrical systems and components. You will be a part of a team consisting of highly skilled engineers and technicians to produce high reliability, cost-effective designs which meet the demanding requirements of the defense industry.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:

Design and develop circuits that are used in a wide variety of weapon systems and commercial spacecraft

Create technical design packages

Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical personnel

Collaborate with other team members including customers, mechanical engineering, supply chain, and quality control

Support testing of explosive devices

Support inventory management control

Be aware of and operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies

Use with proficiency Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook as well as several other machine and operation specific computer programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in EE or EEE

5 to 10+ years of experience in electrical design, breadboard, and test

United States Citizenship

Ability to obtain a Security Clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with Electronic Computer Aided Design software. RSI uses Altium and PCB Artist. Candidate does not need to know these specific applications but should have background in something similar.

Familiarity with MRP (material resource planning) systems.

Familiarity with military/aerospace standards.
