Job Description:

Seeking a process engineer with a background in LNG and/or Cryogenic technology for a hybrid, direct-hire opening in The Woodlands, TX.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and refine operational cycles and perform system modeling
  • Develop and maintain technical schematics, including system layouts and instrumentation diagrams
  • Prepare specifications and documentation for mechanical and utility components
  • Conduct detailed engineering calculations for system sizing and safety evaluations
  • Draft technical narratives to support new project development
  • Participate in structured safety and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with automation teams to define control strategies and system logic
  • Assist in preparing documentation for system activation and operational readiness
  • Support on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance validation
  • Contribute to the evolution of engineering standards and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • At least 3 years of recent experience in a process engineering role
  • Exposure to cryogenic or low-temperature processing systems (e.g., liquefaction, separation)
  • Solid understanding of core engineering principles: thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer
  • Hands-on experience with plant commissioning and early-stage operations
  • Proficiency in process simulation tools such as ASPEN or HYSYS
  • Familiarity with relevant engineering codes and standards

Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer, regardless of authorization or visa transfer
