Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in the manufacturing sector. This role combines deep technical knowledge with strong sales and communication skills to support customers in selecting, integrating, and utilizing our manufactured products. The Sales Engineer acts as a vital link between our engineering team and customers, ensuring solutions meet technical and business needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Sales Support:
  • Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and manufacturing challenges.
  • Present product solutions, benefits, and value propositions effectively to engineering and procurement teams.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including on-site visits, product demonstrations, and training.
  • Proposal Development:
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to prepare technical proposals, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Create detailed quotations and documentation based on customer needs and company capabilities.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and issue resolution.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territory or accounts.
  • Product & Market Knowledge:
  • Stay informed about product developments, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and technical workshops to represent the company and gather market intelligence.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Contribute to sales strategy development in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for all sales and customer interactions.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial equipment, or engineered products.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software; familiarity with CAD or ERP systems is a plus.
