TRCTalent seeks a full time Advanced Mechanical Engineer with direct experience in the switchgear/electrical arena. Position requires bachelor's degree along with six years' related experience. Extensive experience in mechanical design with switchgear and NX expertise required. Location is remote for right candidate OR Wendell NC (hybrid) + relocation is available.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent degree

At least 5 + years of work experience with electrical power distribution products and systems or associate degree with 8+ years of experience

Advanced knowledge of NX

Proven ability to create, convert & modify drawings with 2D and 3D design software.

Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, UL and NEMA standards for MV Switchgear.

Experience with mechanical design for medium voltage switchgear

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Must currently live within the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced experience with NX, AutoCAD and Teamcenter, including development of macros, formulas, and other automation tools.

Experience in change management and leading teams through organizational change.

Demonstrated ability to think strategically, innovate, and drive continuous improvement.

Ability to work independently
