Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Integration & Test

Location: Grand Prairie, TX 75051

Start Date: Immediate

Job Type: Contract

Pay Rate: Starting at $59/hour


Job Summary:

Belcan is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support Integration and Test Engineering for a development missile program. The selected candidate will provide Telemetry (TM) and Flight Termination System (FTS) support, working with both internal teams and external suppliers. The role involves hands-on engineering, coordination of testing and integration activities, and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support ongoing qualification and lot acceptance testing
  • Assist in production deliveries and upgrades for obsolescence
  • Provide design, integration, and testing support for TM and FTS systems
  • Identify and develop second-source options for critical components
  • Coordinate with external suppliers for requirements verification and technical compliance
  • Present findings and updates in technical and safety reviews
  • Ensure interface compliance with system-level ICDs (Interface Control Documents)
  • Develop and maintain Master Measurements List (MML) as needed
  • Conduct troubleshooting and performance verification from module to system level
  • Travel to supplier, production, or test sites as required


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace, or a related technical field
  • Experience with Embedded Telemetry or Flight Termination System (FTS) design
  • Software development experience
  • Hands-on experience integrating hardware and software
  • Knowledge of system interface verification and ICDs
  • Active Secret Clearance preferred; will consider candidates with previously held active clearances
  • Must have or be eligible to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance before starting


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience developing and maintaining a Master Measurements List (MML)
  • Background in RF Telemetry systems
  • Proven ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams including software, design, and production
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Previous experience presenting at program and technical reviews
