Our client is searching for a Electrical Engineer with an Electro Mechanical focus.
In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving plant equipment and infrastructure, leading project planning and implementation, and troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical systems. This is a first-shift position, with occasional off-shift work as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance and upgrades of plant electrical and mechanical systems
- Design and implement equipment layouts and process improvements
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for electrical and mechanical equipment issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on safety, ergonomics, and scalability
- Support automation and modernization projects
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience with electromechanical engineering in casting/metals/components industry
- Knowledge of electrical control systems (prints, VFDs, motors, drives, servos, sensors )
- Knowledge of 460VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC, 5VDC systems
- Knowledge of ladder logic software (ProWORX 32, RSLogix, SoMachine)
- Knowledge of robots (Yaskawa Motoman)
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar software for designing
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software for design
- Knowledge of Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, and Siemens PLCs and drives
- Knowledge of a variety of Fluke meters
