Job Title: Electrical Engineer PE
Location: In office - Englewood, CO
Compensation: $130,000-$140,000
Travel: Up to 20%
AimHire is partnering with a leading engineering firm to find a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and developing complex electrical systems for a variety of high-impact projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems related to healthcare and commercial environments, including power, lighting, low voltage, and telecommunications systems
- Develop design approaches and concepts for projects
- Review project SOW and implement designs accordingly
- Assists with overall man-hour budget and is responsible for man-hour budget within discipline
- Responsible for Quality Control of Electrical Construction Package in compliance with procedures and process
- Coordinate equipment layout and overall design space requirements with the architect and other disciplines
- Perform Construction Phase services including performing construction observations and responding to Submittals and RFI's
- Track project timelines and budgets
- Mentor and guide EIT's
Qualifications
- Must hold an active P.E. license in Electrical Engineering or be on track to receive licensure within 6 months
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 9+ years of relevant experience
- Requires U.S. Citizenship and may require a security clearance
- Proficiency with electrical design tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA codes, Technical Standards and applicable government requirements and experience incorporating into construction documents including drawings and specifications
- Experienced in the production of design drawings and specifications implementing applicable calculations
