Position: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid Work Model)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

About the Role

Join a premier engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm renowned for delivering innovative power generation solutions. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing electrical systems for conventional power generation projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to cutting-edge energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of electrical designs for power generation facilities, including one-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams

  • Perform complex engineering calculations such as load flow, short circuit, motor starting, and arc flash analysis using tools like ETAP or SKM

  • Develop equipment specifications and bills of materials for procurement and construction

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality programs

  • Participate in client meetings and support business development activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power generation projects

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

  • Proficiency in electrical design software and tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, and SKM

  • Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and ANSI standards

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
