Job Description
The Project Engineer will need to react quickly and proficiently to the customer's requirements with the ability to multitask across multiple projects and other job duty tasks and have strong mechanical aptitude, great organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency using Solidworks. This position will report directly to the Director of Engineering and Manufacturing Operations.

Pay Range: Starting at $55,000
Job Responsibilities - Project Mechanical Engineer
- Coordinate multiple projects ranging in various size
- Produce custom design solutions using IPS standard products that fit into our customer's needs
- Communicate with IPS customers as needed during the sales process or assigned project
- Customer support as need be to support IPS products
- Work closely with existing and future suppliers
- Track current projects and maintain delivery schedules for all assigned projects
- Construct proper bills of materials and router steps for manufactured products using the company's ERP software program as needed
- Communicate with all departments, customers, and suppliers efficiently
- Assist in maintaining the highest quality of product provided by Industrial Profile Systems
- Prepare formal proposals on standard and custom products
- Assist customers and sales with their CAD data requests
- Be a confident supplier of solutions to our customer base
- Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed
Desired Skills & Experience- Project Mechanical Engineer
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 3 or more years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in aluminum extrusions or automatic machinery
- Confident personality with a can do attitude is a must; creative solution finder
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Must be hands on and have the ability to understand and demonstrate our products effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Preference will be given to those candidates with knowledge of Microsoft Business Central
