Our client, a leading manufacturer with a strong commitment to operational excellence and product innovation, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a confidential search conducted by a third-party executive recruiting firm.
About the Role As the Senior Process Engineer, you will serve as the technical expert for a key production department, driving process improvements, supporting R&D trials, and leading capital projects. You'll work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and leadership teams to develop new products and processes that push the boundaries of manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities Lead and execute complex process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
Provide deep technical support to production teams and troubleshoot high-impact issues.
Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to develop and test new products and processes.
Manage and contribute to capital projects from concept through implementation.
Serve as the go-to expert for process knowledge in your assigned department.
Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for engineering projects.
Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization-from operators to senior leadership.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5-10 years of experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Six Sigma Black Belt and/or Lean Manufacturing experience highly desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with MS Project and databases a plus.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automation systems (pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, etc.).
Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Additional Information Must be comfortable working in a high-traffic, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Ability to travel occasionally and work on-site with machinery.
Physical requirements include walking long distances, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
