In the realm of design and development, the role encompasses a multifaceted approach. This includes critiquing and validating existing legacy machine designs and processes to enhance durability, simplicity, and cost-effectiveness. Interpret troubleshoot, diagnose, and adapt designs based on customer requests and order amendments, as well as originating innovative concepts aligned with customer and market demands. Accurate generation, issuance, and revision of Bill of Materials (BOMs), assembly, and detail drawings, adhering to Engineering Change Notice (ECN) procedures, form a critical aspect. Set up and revise schematics using AutoCAD Electrical CAD application, ensuring compliance with internal and external engineering standards, is essential. Furthermore, a commitment to safety involves assuring designs exceed global and individual customer standards, operating in accordance with EHS guidelines, and providing support to the operations department, including manufacturing floor assistance and problem resolution for purchasing and manufacturing personnel. To meet project requirements, the role necessitates completing assigned tasks within specified time and cost constraints, offering comprehensive customer support, aiding in addressing machine operation issues, and actively participating in department meetings. The versatility of the role extends to embracing additional duties as assigned. Occasional domestic and international travel to customer facilities required.

Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Technology, or a related field plus 2 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, Software Engineer or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Engineering standards (ANSI/ ISO/ ASTM), concepts, practices, and procedures; and (2) Software tools: AutoCAD Electrical , Rockwell and/or Siemens suites.
