Job Description

MRC has an opening for a junior level Mechanical Engineer in support of Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC). Primary responsibilities include generation and review of engineering documentation packages (drawings, analyses, technical manuals and specifications) for completeness and accuracy, mechanical system analysis, 3D modeling of mechanical components and assemblies, preparation of engineering change packages, and performing stress analysis calculations.

Job Requirements

• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
• 0 - 10 years' experience as a mechanical engineer
• BS in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current active Secret Clearance
• Experience in working with the Department of Defense as an engineer
• U.S. Navy submarine/Torpedo system experience a plus
