Job Description:
Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems and components for various applications.
Fabricate prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs.
Implement vision inspection systems to enhance product quality.
Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing electrical systems.
Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install and/or repair calibrated service or replace electronic devices and systems.
Receive wiring diagrams, specifications and instructions from supervisor covering emergency and scheduled repairs; installation and electrical inspection work to be performed.
Perform work which requires a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, properties of materials and principles of operation of electrical equipment.
Start up and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in compliance with OSHA requirements.
Utilize CAD software for creating detailed schematics and layouts.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
Assigned other duties.
Experience:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Five (5) years plus prior experience related to electrical systems.
Proven experience in designing and fabricating electrical systems.
Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis.
Experience using CAD software for design purposes.
Experience and hands-on knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC systems
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
