Job Description:

Senior Electrical Engineer

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Marietta, GA is seeking a full-time Senior Electrical Engineer. In this role, you will design, develop, and integrate hardware systems to support on-going laboratory development on several projects, including tasks for all test venues in the ADP, C-5, C-130J, F-35 and F-22 systems and simulation platforms. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of electrical and electronics principles to implement design criteria and techniques.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a security clearance. You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Hardware design experience and able to demonstrate an ability to analyze complex technical problems, present findings/recommendations and implement solutions.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with Audio and Video Systems (High End Projector Systems)
  • Experience and knowledge in Aircraft Systems
  • Experience in Radio Communication and RF systems
  • Experience working with Mil-Std 1553 and ARINC-429 bus networks
  • Experience and knowledge in Computer Aided Drawing (i.e. CATIA, AutoCAD, etc.)
  • Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Experience working with various Simulation I/O devices
  • Experience working with Simulation Control Loader Systems
  • Highly motivated, energetic, self-starter and possess exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a highly cohesive team environment.
