Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Duration: Long-Term Vendor role

Location: Onsite Redmond, WA

Hours: Minimum 40 Hours/Week

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced optical test fixtures and stations involving projectors, cameras (e.g. colorimeter), motorized stages, and various optical elements (lenses, diffractive gratings, mirrors, waveguides).

• Develop and integrate custom test fixtures and automation solutions for AR/VR display and optical systems.

• Bring up, validate, and troubleshoot optical test systems and automation hardware/software.

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design and manufacture custom optical test fixtures.

• Perform optical metrology, characterization, and data analysis to support product development and manufacturing.

• Manage calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of metrology tooling.

• Coordinate sample allocation and shipping related to test fixtures and metrology tools.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Optics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in developing optical test stations or fixtures in consumer electronics or related industries.

• Strong fundamentals in geometrical and classical optics, optical metrology, and optical system design.

• Experience with optical components such as lenses, waveguides, and display systems.

Education: Bachelors degree in BSME.
