This position is responsible for designing and laying out medium voltage electrical systems for industrial applications. Duties include creating electrical one-line diagrams, selecting appropriate equipment and components, and generating bills of materials (BOMs) for procurement and construction. What's a Typical Day Like? Design and layout medium voltage electrical systems for industrial applications. Create electrical one-line diagrams and related design documentation. Select appropriate electrical equipment and components to meet project specifications. Generate bills of materials (BOMs) for procurement and construction. Coordinate with mechanical, piping, and HVAC teams to ensure system integration. Review and verify technical drawings, calculations, and design compliance with industry standards. Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases. Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, safety requirements, and company standards. What Are the Requirements of the Job? Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field. Proven experience in electrical system design, preferably in industrial environments. Strong knowledge of medium voltage systems, equipment selection, and load calculations. Proficiency with CAD software and electrical design tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams Ability to work in fast-paced environment. Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs. Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel. Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination. Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time Minimum 5-7 years' experience
