Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry in Calgary, Alberta.


Join a leading integrated energy company as a Senior Process Engineer. In this role, you'll design, optimize, and oversee processes to ensure safe, efficient operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data, and implement improvements that drive sustainability and performance.


Total rewards:

  • $85.00 - $100.00 hourly (incorporated); $70-80/hr (T4)

Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize processes to improve efficiency and safety
  • Provide technical support including process modeling and equipment sizing
  • Analyze operational data and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with engineers and operators to implement improvements
  • Prepare process documentation such as flow diagrams and control narratives
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Support brownfield and greenfield facility design projects
  • Apply industry codes and standards in all engineering activities


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
  • Professional Engineer designation with APEGA
  • 10+ years of process engineering experience in oil and gas
  • Expertise in upstream conventional oil and gas facilities
  • Knowledge of ASME, CSA, API codes and standards
  • Proficiency in HYSYS and Promax simulation software
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
