Job Description:

The Process Engineer will utilize their strong background in plastics to optimize and enhance the manufacturing processes at our client's facility. The Process Engineer should have a deep understanding of plastics engineering, process optimization, and quality control, with the ability to drive improvements and innovate within a production environment.

Description

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for plastic products.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot process issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and refine processes, incorporating best practices and new technologies.
  • Monitor production data and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including safety and environmental guidelines.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering within the plastics industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and address complex process issues.
  • Proficiency in using process simulation and analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and FDA regulations.
  • Experience with injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, or other plastic processing techniques is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of plastic materials, processing technologies, and quality control methods.
  • Proven track record of optimizing plastic manufacturing processes and improving production efficiency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a strong advantage

Job Offer

  • Base salary $80,000 - $105,000, depending on experience
