About the role:

We are building our next-generation suite of in-line manufacturing CT inspection products. In this role, you will bring your expertise designing robust electrical subsystems and PCBs and apply it to Lumafield's CT scanner portfolio.

The Role:

  1. Define system-level electrical subsystem requirements and specifications for our next generation of products.
  2. Design and build power distribution and sensor circuitry using industrial off-the-shelf components.
  3. Perform circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and bring up for custom PCBs related to driving our CT scanning hardware.
  4. Design and release cable specifications to be used in our products.
  5. Implement MCU firmware in C on the STM32 Platform. Review designs and mentor other engineers.

You:

  1. 5+ years of experience with PCB design.
  2. 2+ years of experience with MCU firmware.
  3. 2+ years of experience with industrial control systems.
  4. 2+ years of experience with cabling design.
  5. Expert user of ECAD software such as Altium Designer, Cadence, Mentor, KiCad, etc.
  6. Familiar with high-speed digital design, controlled impedance, crosstalk, signal integrity.
  7. 1+ products mass produced and shipped/supported to customers.
  8. Have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  9. Deep knowledge of grounding schemes.
  10. EMI/EMC and safety-standards expertise.
  11. A solid understanding of system-level and PCB-level thermal issues.
  12. Familiarity with high-voltage power electronics.
