Mechanical Engineer
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems ensuring quality and cost effectiveness.
- Manage design projects including timelines, milestones, and R&D tracking.
- Execute customer specific orders that require Engineering.
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and other simulations to validate and optimize designs.
- Create technical documentation, including drawings, manuals, and specifications.
- Stay up to date on new components and products in the industry.
- Enter and maintain product bill of materials in the ERP system.
- Support production and customers by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance.
- Ensure all customers' needs are met.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be proficient with Solid Works or other 3D design software.
- Must be proficient with AutoCad or other 2D drawing software.
- Must be experienced with the fabrication of mechanical designs.
- Must have solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles.
- Knowledge of industrial AC and DC power systems a plus.
- Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) a plus.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Ability to relate with all levels within the organization.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal & written), and organizational skills.
- Switch Gear experience preferred.
- Familiarity with UL891
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering and design or closely related field.
EDUCATION:
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Additional professional accreditation/certification a plus.
$65,000.00-90,000.00 DOE
8am-5pm
