Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to work on commercial and industrial projects? We're seeking a dynamic professional to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA, and collaborate with Project Managers and other team members to successfully complete electrical design and engineering tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and analyze power distribution, lighting, grounding, and more in compliance with project requirements and codes.
Perform arc flash, short circuit, and coordination studies.
Provide technical guidance to designers for construction deliverables.
Assist in preparing procurement and construction specs, and bid evaluations.
Coordinate with vendors and other departments to resolve design challenges.
Conduct site visits and ensure the quality of work by the design team.
Review and update department design standards for compliance.
Qualifications:
5+ years of electrical design engineering experience in heavy industrial facilities.
Expertise in power distribution, substations, arc flash studies, and conduit/cable sizing.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; P.E. preferred.
Proficiency with E-tap, AutoCAD, or REVIT.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
