Job Description:

A growing company is looking for a skilled System Integration Engineer with a background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA platforms, and telemetry systems, with a focus on industries such as food processing, wastewater treatment plants, oil and gas, and pulp and paper.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, program, and integrate PLC systems, particularly Allen-Bradley.
  • Develop and manage SCADA systems, including Wonderware/Aveva and Ignition.
  • Work with telemetry systems to monitor and control remote equipment.
  • Build, wire, and troubleshoot control panels.
  • Commission, troubleshoot, and diagnose automation and control systems on-site.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and adherence to timelines.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with PLC programming, particularly Allen-Bradley.
  • Proficient in SCADA systems (Wonderware/Aveva, Ignition) and telemetry.
  • Familiarity with industries such as food processing, wastewater treatment, oil/gas, and pulp/paper.
  • Strong background in control panel design and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and commissioning systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel daily to client sites but return home each night.
