Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Transportation Engineer to be based in Atlanta, Georgia.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Assist in data collection, traffic model development, capacity and operational analysis.
Assist in performing planning level macro to micro traffic simulation models to compare present, and future traffic conditions and needs.
Have some knowledge/understanding of various traffic analysis software such as Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, Sidra.
Have knowledge of various analysis, reporting, and presentation software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Assist in performing traffic analysis for small- and large-scale transportation projects.
Assist in creating visual presentations on transportation data.
Assist in preparing and reviewing technical documents, alternative analysis reports, and other project-specific deliverables.
Collaborate and participate in internal and external team meetings.
Periodic travel required within Georgia and neighboring states.
