Job Description:

Kelly Services is seeking a CNC operator with lathe or turret experience to join the 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday) at the world's premier manufacturer of powersports.

This position is available immediately and is a long-term, temporary-to-hire role after 90 days.

Pay and Shift:
2nd shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:20pm-2:50am, $20.03/hour

What is a typical day as a Machine Operator? You'll be:
  • Operating CNC equipment and be responsible for the proper use of machines, tooling and inspection equipment.
  • Loading parts into machine and verifying settings by measuring positions, first-run and sample parts.
  • Maintaining production rate in terms of cycle time, quantity and quality assigned to the job.
  • Using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and other inspection gauges.
  • Making high quality parts to specifications and assisting with the identification of root causes and corrective action for quality problems.
  • Performing in process inspection of machined parts and accurately completing the required paperwork such as the Inspection Process (IP) sheet.
A Machine Operator job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have experience as a CNC Machine Operator (1+ years preferred)
  • Have a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
