Position Summary
The
Sr. Electrical Engineer
to work with a team of junior and senior electrical engineers in the design of state-of-the-art industrial and manufacturing facilities for the world's leading companies.
Responsibilities
Full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating large engineering assignments with overall responsibility for budget adherence, schedule adherence, quality control, and inter-discipline coordination.
Responsible for stamping/sealing of one's drawings/documents as well as drawings/documents done as the professional in "responsible charge " as defined by the applicable statute of jurisdiction.
May plan and develop engineering projects concerned with unique or controversial problems, offering highly specialized knowledge and skills in a particular branch of engineering.
Maintains liaison with individuals within and outside the firm with responsibility for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the chosen field.
Supervision received is essentially administrative and assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
May plan, organize, supervise, and review the work of a team of engineers and designers working on the same assigned project.
Plays a very active part in client contact and business development activities.
Prepares or supervises preparation of contract proposals and participates in presentations.
Meet regularly with client to define project scope, present project progress, and assure client satisfaction.
Accepts or rejects major items involving materials, equipment, manufacturer's quality, and field construction.
Maintains continuing professional education as detailed in registered states' voluntary or mandatory requirements.
Up to 25% travel required.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering and full professional registration required.
Current Professional Engineer (PE) License and 10+ years of related practical experience.
Related build/design experience for industrial manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, or high-technology facilities.
Proficient design experience utilizing AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit software.

Competitive Salary:
$120,000-$150,000/yr dependent on location, education, experience, and certifications.
