Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems and components for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electrical systems and components for various construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), International Building Code (IBC), and other relevant codes and regulations.
- Prepare and review electrical engineering permit applications and documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate electrical designs with overall project plans.
- Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and ensure adherence to electrical design specifications.
- Perform energy code compliance reviews in accordance with the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC).
- Utilize Revit and other design software for creating detailed electrical designs and schematics.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, IBC, and IECC regulations.
- Proficiency in Revit and other electrical design software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
