About Team: PICO is a leading VR/AR platform with independent innovation and R&D capabilities, focusing on VR all-in-one technology. PICO is committed to offering immersive and interactive VR experiences to our customers, including providing tailor-made solutions for our enterprise clients in the fields of education and healthcare. Responsibilities Face the challenge of structural architecture for future XR device prototypings, including ultra-light-weight AR glasses and futuristic MR headsets. Hands-on design in CAD, lead prototype validation and function testings. Innovate to improve product rigidity, aesthetics, finish, comfort and weight. Estimate product weight and conduct tradeoffs with functions. Own product-level architecture as well as key module-level prototypes. Identify project key path and validation sequence. Define prototype milestones. Demostrate convincing innovations, features and improvements. Solve problems in a creative but practical way. Work with suppliers & manufacturers to optimize and excute design into functional prototypes. Pay attention to details, including reliability, cosmetics, manufacturability, functionality and more. Prototype closely with industrial designers, optical engineers, electrical engineers, firmware engineers, human factor engineers and software engineers for optimized outcomes.
