Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: Conduct product failure/accident analysis and support/conduct field investigations of incidents involving all types of mechanical equipment (e.g., vehicles, construction equipment) Perform calculations, engineering analyses, computer analyses and simulations, and technical reporting Investigate the design, safety, and failure of mechanical equipment and/or their constituent components Lead in-house metrology laboratory; process data in creating drawings and analyzing data Provide technical findings and conclusions in laymen's terms, both verbally and written Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/courses; reviewing professional publications and standards; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies Regular and predictable physical presence in the office when not on sites Position Requirements: B.S in Mechanical Engineering required Degree from ABET accredited program MUST HAVE a minimum of two (2) years work experience in product development or testing E.I.T. strongly preferred Once eligible, complete requirements to obtain P.E.
