Senior Electrical Engineer

Must Haves:

• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) with Engineers & Geoscientists BC or with another jurisdiction and eligible for registration as such with Engineers & Geoscientists BC
• Solid knowledge of medium voltage diesel station & associated substation construction, maintenance, and operational activities with flexible design capabilities for integration with renewables, battery energy storage and microgrid controllers.
• Provide existing diesel station & substation electrical details to internal staff and subcontractors to allow design for integration of the assets into a microgrid.
• Participate in design review meetings on a weekly basis representing Client Non-Integrated Areas
• Client uses a Digital Sign and Seal Technology. You may be required to subscribe to a digital seal technology service offered by Notarius.
• Help respond to assigned information requests by internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform reviews of Electrical and Controls design packages submitted by subcontractors, ensuring compliance with relevant Client and industry standards. Design review packages will contain single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, panel layouts, and Protection & Control philosophy documents.
