Electrical engineer

Insight Global is seeking a qualified Secret Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience in support of one of our large federal clients in Albuquerque, NM. Their day-to-day will include but is not limited to:

• Assisting in engineering, designing, and installing electrical power systems.
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining generators, motors, UPS, control panels, HVAC, and various electrical components.
• Training staff in system repairs, operations, and troubleshooting.
• Using electrical test equipment to diagnose and correct malfunctions.
• Working with industrial, military, and commercial electrical wiring and mechanical systems.
• Reading, redlining, and designing electrical circuits.
• Designing and implementing RF telecommunication systems.
• Collaborating in a team environment and working closely with the engineering staff
• Writing detailed installation and maintenance manuals.
• Coordinating procurement of electrical components from vendors.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university
• 5+ years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering
• Working experience with single and 3 phase power circuits
• Knowledge of Radio Frequency(RF) and Microwave principles
• Active DoD Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Military communications experience in a tactical environment
• Familiarity with the NFPA-70 National Electric Code mobile environment
• Professional experience in commercial/industrial engineering
