Job Description:

Electrical Engineer - Machinery Design

Hanover, PA

$80,000 - $160,000

Up to 4 weeks PTO, all standard holidays off, full benefits, flexible hours, bonus potential, 401k, paid gym, and long-term career development

Are you an Electrical Engineer ready to finally be rewarded for your skill, with full project ownership, flexible hours, and tailored training to push your career forward?

Do you feel now's the right time to join a company that builds everything in-house, gives engineers full project ownership, and actually rewards your contribution?

This is your chance to join a world-class machinery manufacturer with clients in over 60 countries and a close-knit team right here in Hanover. They design and build advanced automated machinery entirely in-house and are growing fast across global markets.

You'll join a 10-person engineering team where you'll own your projects from start to finish - from PLC programming and troubleshooting to electrical design and hands-on support. It's varied, interesting work where your input matters. The BDM actively involves engineers in customer-facing activities too; giving you a genuine voice in project success and even 1.5% commission on any sales you support!

You'll work a 40-hour week on your terms. Some do 4x10s, others start early, working Mon-Fri. The schedule's flexible as long as the work gets done. It's a culture built on trust, with long-term career paths, internal promotion, and full support behind you.

If you're looking for full autonomy, progression, and the tools to do proper engineering work - this is the long-term career move you've been looking for!

The role:

  • Design and troubleshoot electrical systems for custom machinery
  • Write, edit, and maintain PLC and HMI code
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers, assembly techs, and customers
  • Take projects from concept to install with full ownership

The person:

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Experienced with PLC programming and electrical design (AutoCAD/AutoDesk)
  • Confident working cross-functionally in a hands-on environment
  • Driven to grow long-term, technically or into leadership
