Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic team in Davenport, IA. In this role, you will lead the design and development of innovative products, from concept through production. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Tech Services, Sales, and Marketing to ensure products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on engineering role that requires strong technical expertise, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple product development projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems using Pro/Engineer (Creo) CAD software.
  • Conduct and participate in Gold Standard meetings to define and refine product specifications.
  • Analyze prototype builds and manufacturing processes to identify improvements and ensure manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate designs through testing and data analysis.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including reports, procedures, and correspondence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team and company goals.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in mechanical design and product development.
  • Proficiency in Pro/Engineer (Creo) or similar CAD software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.


Work Schedule

  • Standard first-shift hours: Monday to Friday.
