Job Description:

Identify and troubleshoot mechanical engineering problems. Define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering test reports. Develop, design, or modify complex mechanical engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications. Perform engineering analysis of difficult scope. Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers. Generate mechanical product specifications. Design, develop and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle. Establish standards across all operational processes. Specify and review engineering documentation. Implement concepts for variety of complex product issues and mechanical solutions. Understand problem statements to be resolved and identify solution path and alternative hardware with risk assessment. Design hardware to resolve problems; present design review meeting and gather feedback. Communicate with supply chain manufacturing. Perform lab tests and data analysis. Requirements: Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nanoengineering, Engineering Technology or related field and 2 years experience in any occupation in which mechanical engineering experience was gained. Demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in each of the following: 1. Engineering Mathematics (Flow conductance calculation, thermal expansion, deflection/stress analysis) 2. NX CAD based software for mechanical designs 3. Numerical modeling 4.
