Are you a hands-on injection molding expert ready to thrive in a high-urgency, high-impact environment? Our client is seeking multiple Senior (or Mid Level) Process Engineers (1st Shift and Off-shifts) to join a dynamic team and help drive a major plant turnaround.

What You'll Do
  • Lead or support press-side troubleshooting, mold validation, and cycle optimization.
  • Drive continuous improvement in scrap, cycle time, quality, and material usage.
  • Collaborate with Tooling, Quality, and Maintenance teams to optimize performance.
  • Support new tool launches, automation handoff, and process development.
  • Interface with robotics (Sepro, Wittmann, Engel, ABB) and controls teams.
  • Own and deploy scientific molding principles and eDart systems.
  • Mentor technicians and contribute to training and upskilling efforts.
What You Bring (flexible on these areas)
  • Senior Role (1st Shift): Proven leadership in tool launches, troubleshooting, and process development.
  • Off-Shift Roles: Strong hands-on experience with injection molding and readiness for 12-hour shifts.
  • Deep understanding of complex tooling and molding technologies.
  • Familiarity with robotics and EOAT coordination.
  • Bonus: Experience with mold gas assist, coining, insert/overmolding, or tight-tolerance airbag chute molding.
Must-Haves
  • Plastic Injection molding expertise is non-negotiable and some automation experience (no programming expected)
  • Strong job stability - no job-hoppers.
  • Floor-based mindset - expect 70%+ hands-on work.
  • Willingness to work weekends, variable hours, and be on-call as needed (will get better as the team builds).
  • Degree preferred, but not required with proven experience and technical skill.
Shift Details
  • Senior Process Engineer: 1st Shift (Day)
  • Process Engineers (2 openings): Off-Shift (12-hour shifts for now but will change as team builds, 7a-7p / 7p-7a)
  • 7-day operation - Just-In-Time (JIT) supply environment
