Job Description:

A client of ours has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer. Candidates should have an electromechanical background and be proficient in SolidWorks. This role will support products for aerospace, defense, and medical device industries. There is also some customer facing responsibility in this role. This is a direct hire opening!

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Coon Rapids, MN
Salary: 80k-115k, depends on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and develop a variety of micro and nano style electronic connectors
  • Managing projects using engineering principles and techniques
  • Developing, testing, and evaluating theoretical designs to conform with product performance requirements and specifications
  • Reviewing customer documentation and providing solutions to design for manufacture and assembly

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 3 years minimum experience in electro-mechanical product design will consider candidates with 3-10 years of experience
  • Experience in plating, metal stamping, screw machining, NC Milling and plastic injection molding is nice to have
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks is highly desirable
