We are currently looking to add an Active Transportation CADD Technician to our team. As an Active Transportation CADD Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
Working under the supervision of a designer or licensed engineer, use standard drafting/design principles to prepare project drawings for a wide range of public and private sector projects including shared-use path, trail, and bicycle and pedestrian facilities
Work from sketches, computer models, and verbal information supplied by an engineer or designer to determine the most appropriate views, detail drawings, and supplementary information needed to complete assignments
Accurately produce plan drawings that adhere to all specifications outlined in internal and external CADD manuals
Read and understand orthographic and or/ isometric (3D) designs
May occasionally interpret general designs prepared by engineers or designers to complete minor details
Coordinate with other technicians, designers, and engineers to complete details and ensure a cohesive design
Ensure timely completion of time sheets
Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
