Sr. Electrical Engineer
Toledo, OH
$120,000-$150,000/yr

Position Summary
The Sr. Electrical Engineer to work with a team of junior and senior electrical engineers in the design of state-of-the-art industrial and manufacturing facilities for the world's leading companies.

Responsibilities
  • Full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating large engineering assignments with overall responsibility for budget adherence, schedule adherence, quality control, and inter-discipline coordination.
  • Responsible for stamping/sealing of one's drawings/documents as well as drawings/documents done as the professional in "responsible charge " as defined by the applicable statute of jurisdiction.
  • May plan and develop engineering projects concerned with unique or controversial problems, offering highly specialized knowledge and skills in a particular branch of engineering.
  • Maintains liaison with individuals within and outside the firm with responsibility for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the chosen field.
  • Supervision received is essentially administrative and assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
  • May plan, organize, supervise, and review the work of a team of engineers and designers working on the same assigned project.
  • Plays a very active part in client contact and business development activities.
  • Prepares or supervises preparation of contract proposals and participates in presentations.
  • Meet regularly with client to define project scope, present project progress, and assure client satisfaction.
  • Accepts or rejects major items involving materials, equipment, manufacturer's quality, and field construction.
  • Maintains continuing professional education as detailed in registered states' voluntary or mandatory requirements.
  • Up to 25% travel required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering and full professional registration required.
  • Current Professional Engineer (PE) License and 10+ years of related practical experience.
  • Related build/design experience for industrial manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, or high-technology facilities.
  • Proficient design experience utilizing AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit software.
